Caroline Dhavernas Returns to Series Television
There’s a new article about Caroline Dhavernas and her return to TV up here! Here’s an excerpt:
Caroline Dhavernas, best known for playing quirky slacker Jaye Tyler on the short-lived 2004 Fox dramedy “Wonderfalls,” soured on the small screen after the series was time-shifted and yanked from the fall schedule after airing only four of its 13 episodes. “We were put on a Friday night, and the politics of the whole thing really disappointed me,” the Montreal native says of her first experience with network TV. She says she “hasn’t really done television since” because of the hours. “The lead in a show [works] a 16-hour day for seven months,” she notes, and “that kind of life” wasn’t what she wanted.

Top 10 Winter TV Premieres to Get Excited About
Off the Map, starring Caroline Dhavernas, makes E! Online’s list of Top 10 Winter TV Premieres to Get Excited About. Here’s what the article says about the new show that premiers on January 12th on ABC:

Combining Lost’s tropical splendor with Grey’s’ fool-proof medical soap structure, Off the Map is a veritable TV paradise of pretty people with major problems, both medical and personal. To make it even more irresistible, Grey’s boss Shonda Rhimes is an executive producer (OTM show runner Betsy Beers is also a Grey’s alum), and they’ve stocked the cast with beloved TV faves like Friday Night Lights’ Zach Gilford and Wonderfalls’ Caroline Dhavernas. If you liked either Lost or Grey’s, definitely take a look at Map.

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Bryan Fuller is working on a remake of The Munsters for NBC! Here’s an excerpt with more info:
So far, NBC, with whom Fuller has an overall deal, has ordered only a pilot. But since the potential series is being described to me as “Modern Family meets True Blood,” I have a good feeling about it.
