Jaye Tyler

Jaye Tyler is highly educated, but determined not do anything more involved than retail. She has just recently discovered that inanimate objects talk to her. This makes her think that she may, in fact, be crazy. Jaye is played by Caroline Dhavernas.

Eric Gotts

Eric was married in Niagara Falls, until he discovered his new bride with another man. From there, he made his way to the local bar, cried for three days and then got offered a job. Eric is played by Tyron Leitso.

Mahandra McGinty

Mahandra is Jaye's closest friend and ally. She waits tables at the Barrel Bar and loves Niagara. She is one of the few people that Jaye trusts and is completely open with. Mahandra is played by Tracie Thoms.

Sharon Tyler

Sharon is Jaye's older sister and a respectable immigration laywer. She's a Republican and also a lesbian. Jaye is the only one in her family her currently knows about her sexuality. Sharon is played by Katie Finneran.

Aaron Tyler

Aaron is a professional student with a dry sense of humor. He boasts more degrees than you can shake a stick at and is currently working towards his Ph.D in Religious Theory. Aaron is played by Lee Pace.

Karen Tyler

Karen is Jaye's mother. She is a respected author and local celebrity. She is extremely loyal towards her family and wishes that Jaye were not such an underachiever. Karen is played by Diana Scarwid.

Darrin Tyler

Darrin is Jaye's father. He's a surgeon and composer. He loves is family and Ronald Reagan, but is certainly not the most observant member of the family. Darrin is played by William Sadler.
